There is a lot of excitement around here as we continue to put together the 5th annual Rayni Day Miracles fundraiser. Sandy McLane has donated indoor space at the Valley Plaza Shopping Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. We're expanding the yard-sale to two days and adding a silent auction. RDM dollars are on sale now - they can be used online at http://miraclesale.tcmax.net or during the fundraiser on October 1st and 2nd. They are 1 for $1 or 6 for $5. If you would like to donate yard-sale or silent auction items or volunteer, please contact us at 573-785-0946. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ PAST FUNDRAISERS --------- Easter Egg Hunt - March 28, 2004 Amy Hood and her family and friends were so generous when they offered to name Rayni Day Miracles as their charity of choice for their annual Easter Egg Hunt. Each person attending brought a toy to donate to the organization. Briggs and Stratton Fundraiser - December 2003 Briggs and Stratton generously included Rayni Day Miracles in their fundraising efforts this year. The organization was asked to participate along with two other local charities (Haven House and Butler County Council on Aging) There was a raffle on December 3rd to give away items including 4 $250 Shopping Sprees, a family pass to Bluff Falls and Gas Grill. Zimmer Radio was live from Briggs and Stratton on December 2nd and 3rd promoting the organizations. Rayni Day Miracles' Miracle Club helped draw and announce the winning names. The fundraiser was a huge success - Briggs and Stratton gave Rayni Day Miracles a check for $1,372.81 and a lot of publicity. Look for pictures soon.
Yardsales Each year, in late September or early October, Rayni Day Miracles, Inc. has a yard-sale as its main fundraiser for the year. Items are donated by individuals and businesses and the organization received matching funds in 2001 and 2002.
